  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Tue, 16 Jul 2024 00:36:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: CME visible to the east in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source is a prominence eruption visible off the NE limb in SDO AIA 304 with liftoff starting around 2024-07-16T00:08Z. Opening field lines are visible in SDO AIA 171/193/335, brightening and possible flare are best seen in SDO AIA 94/131/193, and post-eruptive arcades are best seen in SDO AIA 94/171/193.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Mon, 15 Jul 2024 10:12:00 +0000
  • Source: S06W65
  • Region: 13738
  • Note: A very minor (slow, faint) CME associated with the M2.7 flare from AR 3738. Coronal signatures include opening of field lines on the NW limb and post eruptive arcades, as well as a dimming that is best seen in STEREO EUVI A 195 starting at 09:25Z. The CME is well seen only in SOHO LASCO C2 and is very faintly seen only in a couple initial timestamps of STEREO A COR2; is not seen in C3 at all b/c of faintness.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Mon, 15 Jul 2024 09:48:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Narrow fast jet with a brighter narrower bulk and a fainter also narrow shock is likely associated with a flare sympathetic to the M2.7 flare from AR 3738. The flare seems to be originating from the limb/just behind the limb, from the active region currently in the process of rotating onto the northeast limb. Coronal signatures include a minor ejecta seen in AIA 304, a narrow opening of field lines on/close to the limb in AIA 171 and post-eruptive arcades on the limb.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Sun, 14 Jul 2024 15:37:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: A very faint slow CME in the southeast, largely covered by a data gap in STEREO A coronagraph. The source is likely be beyond the limb, with some minor movement of field lines on limb observed. There is some on disk activity in the SE quadrant starting around 2024-07-14T13:18Z, however, the timing of it is imperfect and this on-disk eruption is very small.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Sun, 14 Jul 2024 08:00:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: Jet-like CME to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and STEREO A COR2 imagery. Source appears to be moving/opening field lines along the NE limb as seen in GOES SUVI 284 starting around 2024-07-14T09:00Z.

  • Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
  • Start: Fri, 12 Jul 2024 23:06:00 +0000
  • Source:
  • Region:
  • Note: A very faint but fast partial halo CME covered by a data gap in SOHO LASCO C2 and STEREO A COR2 and first seen in C3. The source (initially very hard to identify) was found in GOES SUVI 304 as a long but faint filament erupting (likely) behind the ENE limb starting at 2024-07-12T22:50Z.
